This course is for you who are new to the role of software tester and who want to strengthen your theoretical foundation. Maybe you lack the tools to implement software test in a professional way? Maybe you want to learn the “test language” that gives you the best conditions to work with your team?

Then sign up for our basic course in ISTQB, ISTQB Foundation.

We only admit a few participants at the course, so you get the opportunity to discuss the subjects and “best test practice” with the other participants and our teacher.

The course takes place on:

1.-3. september 2025

This certification gives you an internationally recognized certification in basic software testing. You will gain a broad knowledge of software testing and best practice in the field, as well as an introduction to standard test terminology, that can help you and your organization create a common language for testing.

We get 3 intensive days together with both theoretical review and practical exercises, just as there will be plenty of time for discussion. Our teacher emphasizes inclusive teaching with a focus on dialogue.

Course materials and syllabus are in English, and the course will be held in English. We only admit a few participants at the course, so you get the opportunity to discuss the subjects and “best test practice” with the other participants and our teacher.

Whether you are a tester, test manager, developer, project manager or have another role, ISTQB Foundation is a good introduction to software testing.

You should expect approximately 5-10 hours of reading the syllabus before the start of the course, and 1-2 hours of homework each evening during the course.

The exam is prepared by ISTQB and administered by Dansk IT. Exam is an 1-hour multiple choice session with 40 questions, without aids such as books or notes. If English is not your native language, you can get 15 minutes of extra time.

You must have at least 65% right to pass.

In connection with the planning of the course, it will be possible to place the exam where it suits you and your fellow students, either in direct extension of the 3 days course, or with a period in between if you want additional time for rehearsal before the exam.

The price for the course includes the following:

Breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day
Course materials including exercises and rehearsal exam
One exam attempt

The course takes place on:

1.-3. september 2025

– from 9am to 4pm every day, unless stared otherwise in the course confirmation. Breakfast is served from 8.30am.

The course is held at Key2Quality at Krøyer Kielbergs Vej 3, 4. th., 8660 Skanderborg.

There are great parking conditions on the address, and the parking is free.

Daisy Fischlein Steffensen

Daisy Fischlein Steffensen is a test analyst and has worked with tests since 2010, mainly with test analysis in agile teams. She is a specialist in test design techniques and holds multiple certifications in both ISTQB and TMAP. Daisy has many years of experience in teaching, where she draws on her practical experience and examples from the “real world” to put the theory into context.
